  • Are your diamonds and gemstones ethically sourced?

    Yes, all of our diamonds and gemstones are ethically sourced and come from conflict free regions. We are a proud member of the World Federation Diamond Bourses (WFDB) and we comply with the Kimberley Process.
  • Do you sell loose diamonds?

    Yes, in addition to our diamond jewellery, we also sell loose diamonds. If we do not have what you are looking for in stock, we’d be happy to source it for you.
  • If a ring is too big or small, can it be resized for free?

    The short answer is yes. Most rings can easily be resized for free. In some cases, resizing is not an option but we can create a new ring for you. However, sometimes this will entail an additional fee.
  • What happens if a bracelet is too big?

    When a bracelet is too big, it can be shortened for free. However, when it is too small, it will generally cost to make it bigger since this almost always requires extra stones or gold.
  • Do your diamonds come with certificates?

    Most of our diamonds and gemstones come with a certificate. The certification of every item can be viewed on the respective product page. Most items are either certified by the GIA (diamonds) or by the GRS (gemstones).
  • What’s your return policy?

    We offer a 100% money back guarantee within 30 days of receiving the product. Please refer to our return policy for exact details.
  • Do I need to pay custom fees?

    This depends on the customer’s location. We take care of the import/custom fees for orders from the USA, UK, China, and HK. Custom fees in other countries should be handled by the customer. We are here to assist in any way we can, as we have much experience with custom authorities in different countries.
  • Do you buy second hand diamonds?

    Yes. We are open to purchasing your diamonds if you are able to provide a certificate, a clear picture, and a price.
  • How do I return an item I don’t want?

    Once you’ve decided that you would like to return an item, you should contact us and we will instruct you how to go about returning your purchase. USA customers will receive prepaid shipping labels.
  • Where can I view your diamonds?

    Our diamonds can be viewed in person in various locations including our different showrooms or in 3rd party premises (like Brinks.) Please contact us to set up an appointment for a viewing.
  • Is it possible to put a stone on hold?

    You may request to reserve a certain piece, and once it receives approval, it will remain reserved until you have reached your decision or until the date agreed upon has expired.
  • Do you offer free shipping?

    Yes. We offer free shipping worldwide. See our policies page for more information.
  • Do you offer any exchange or upgrading programs?

    We are proud to offer a unique upgrade program, which allows you to swap jewellery you have purchased from us for more extravagant pieces. Certain regulations apply.
  • How can I have a diamond appraised?

    We offer appraisals conducted by our professional gemologists for our products. We do not appraise items that are not ours.
  • What happens if my piece of jewellery breaks?

    We will fix your jewellery pieces free of charge within three months of purchase. If, however, stones have been lost and need to be replaced, there will be an extra charge.
  • What payment options do you offer?

    We currently accept bank transfers, all credit cards, and personal checks.
  • Can I pay in installments?

    At present, we do not accept payment in installments. However, there is an option to divide your payment into several installments prior to receiving the item.
  • Are there any discounts? 

    We offer a 5% discount for payments done via bank transfer or check. Additionally we have special offers from time to time.
  • Do you have gemologists on staff? 

    Yes. Astteria is proud to employ several extremely experienced gemologists who will be happy to provide you with free consultation prior to your purchase.
  • Can I order a custom piece?

    Of course! We are incredibly proud of our Bespoke collection, which allows you to customize and even design your own jewellery piece from beginning to end.
  • Can custom pieces be returned for a full refund?

    Custom pieces can be returned and a full refund will be given for the main stone. However, 50% of the cost of the setting will be deducted from the refund of the setting.
  • Do the prices that appear on the website include sales tax?

    No. The prices that appear are before the sales tax is added.
  • How long does it take for my item to arrive once I have placed the order? 

    It will take approximately one to seven days for your item to arrive once you have completed your purchase. This depends on the location of your item as well as your shipping address. If your item needs to be resized, it will take an additional day or two.
